The ProMediaGear TR42M Carbon Fiber Monopod is durable and lightweight support you can carry every day. At 1.5, it is perfect for everyday shooting. Plus, it is compatible with any Arca-swiss clamp.
In addition to that, the TR42M extends beyond a regular monopod. It goes up to 61-inches and is great for the average adult height.
Moreover, this monopod can handle cameras and lenses of up to 70 lbs. Despite its weight, it carries large lenses and heavy camera bodies without a slouch.
Besides the monopod itself, the company included the ProMediaGear PBX3 Universal Bracket Plate. This camera plate fits any camera which is perfect if you do not have a camera plate yet. It should be noted that this bracket plate works with a different brand as well.
Other features include a solid rubber foot - perfect for indoor shoots. But, a stainless steel spike is also included. The spikes work better in softer terrain.
Lastly, a neoprene grip and a carrying strap are also included. The grip ensures a comfortable time using it. Meanwhile, you can prevent accidental drops with the carrying strap. The strap also helps free one hand without letting go of the monopod if needed.

. . . and I say this as someone who much prefers tripods over monopods.
If you are in a situation where tripods are not allowed, the strong and sturdy TR42M Monopod might be the perfect choice.

This BEAST of a Monopod is truly a thing of BEAUTY! Every time I pick it up I am truly amazed on how light it is, as well as wowed by it's strength. Holds my heaviest rig with out bustin a bead! Anyone that sees it (photographers and non-photographers) ogles over it and the craftsmanship. Can't get over how awesome the lock knobs are and how smooth they work. Have not been disappointed by ANY of my PMG products, and this one is no exception. Can't wait to get my next tool/toy from you guys!
What a stout light weight monopod. Build quality is superb. USA Top Quality. I use the HM1 1axis tilt head most of the time and they fit beautifully together. I also have the GT1 Tomahawk-Gimbal sidekick for longer lenses and it works Great on this monopod, what a piece of eye-candy that is! They work together.
