The ProMediaGear PLNMBN10 L-Bracket for Nikon Z6 and Z7 works with the MB-N10 battery grip installed. This model is also compatible with the Nikon Z6 II and the Nikon Z7 II.
However, this grip does not work without a battery grip installed. This is due to the vertical part being longer than usual.
An L-bracket allows you to change the camera's orientation quickly. You can shift from horizontal to the vertical composition without adjusting the tripod. Moreover, this Nikon L-bracket fits any compatible Arca-swiss supports.
In addition, mounting a camera vertically on an L-bracket provides a stable platform. The camera sits right in the middle of the tripod's apex. In the end, it is more stable and less prone to wobbles.
Another neat feature of this ProMediaGear L-bracket is its two-piece design. ProMediaGear separated the horizontal and vertical bar. Meanwhile, cheap L-brackets are made of a single aluminum block.
With the two-piece design, the vertical side can be extended or even removed. So if you only need the horizontal plate, then it is possible with the PLNMBN10.
ProMediaGear manufactures this L-bracket from a solid Aluminum T6061 block. Plus, it has a black anodized scratch-resistant finish. Expect top-notch build quality and durability. Buy this bracket once and you are set for several years to come.
Just a precaution, if you are using the Nikon Z6 and Z7 without a grip, then this will not fit your camera. Luckily, ProMediaGear has one for you. The PLNZ67 L-Bracket works well with these cameras. The Nikon Z6 II and Z7 II use the PLNZ672 L-Bracket though.
Lastly, for PLNMBN11 L-Bracket fits the Nikon Z6 II and Z7 II with the Nikon MB-N11 battery grip installed. Do not forget to check out with either the SS2 or QD Strap port selected though. ProMediaGear will ship the brackets with the QD strap by default soon.
